La Sportiva Aequilibrium ST GTX

The Aequilibrium ST GTX from La Sportiva is a lightweight and technical mountaineering boot that is ideal for via ferratas, trekking, glacier crossings and changeable terrain. Thanks to the innovative Double Heel™ heel construction, it offers excellent braking properties when descending and a smooth rolling action, which is easy on the muscles and maximizes comfort. The integrated bellows construction of the tongue and the soft snow guard on the protective collar also contribute to the high level of comfort.
The combination of durability and lightness is achieved by the new sole/midsoleunit with external Rubber Guard™ shell construction and internal foam. This provides more cushioning and lightness due to fewer layers of rubber. The ergonomic shape of the shoe, with integrated TPU shells at the toe and heel, provides a precise fit and reinforces the upper.
The 3D Flex System Evo™ enables better step control and perfect ankle mobility, while the abrasion-resistant gaiter at the toe protects the lacing from abrasion. The midsole is compatible with semi-automatic crampons, and the Vibram® SpringLug Tech outsole with Impact Brake System lugs ensures better adaptation to hard rock surfaces. The Aequilibrium ST GTX thus combines all the features necessary for a harmonious and safe mountaineering experience.
