The padded, technical 2-layer hardshell jacket for ski-minded youngsters, the Oppdal Insulated Youth Jacket from Bergans, is the ideal choice for all outdoor-adventures. Made from windproof, waterproof and breathable Bergans Element Active® material, this jacket offers reliable protection from the elements with a water column of at least 10,000 mm. The material feels soft and comfortable, while the Bergans ArcticInsulation made of synthetic fibers ensures pleasant warmth even when wet.
This jacket is equipped with numerous practical features that provide additional comfort and protection. The large, adjustable, helmet-compatible hood with a high collar and tunnel opening offers optimum protection in wind and snow. Pre-shaped elbows and cuffs as well as adjustable Velcro fasteners at the wrists allow maximum freedom of movement and a perfect fit. The detachable snow guard and extended back section provide additional protection from the cold and snow.
Safety and visibility are also guaranteed: reflective 3M™ details on the hood, sleeves and torso ensure that your child is clearly visible even in poor lighting conditions. The elasticated drawstring at the hem can be adjusted with one hand. The storm flap with press studs at the front effectively keeps out cold draughts.

How to measure
- 1. Height:Stand up straight with your feet and back against a wall. Place a flat object (e.g. book) on your head and hold it horizontally against the wall. Now you can measure from the bottom edge of the object to the floor.
- 2. Sleeve length:The distance from top of shoulder joint to arm wrist. Angle the arm slightly and pass the tape through the elbow as well.
- 3. Chest:Measure the circumference at the widest part of the chest (under the armpits)
- 4. Waist:Measured the waist circumference below the navel. The measuring tape should not constrict the belly keeping the tape horizontal around the body.
- 5. Hips:Measure the hips circumference at the fullest part of the seat keeping the tape horizontal around the body.
