The Ascent -1C Down Sleeping Bag from Sea to Summit is the most versatile sleeping bag on the market and ideal for adventures in the great outdoors. This unisex sleeping bag made of high-quality, RDS-certified goose down with a fill power of 750+ is suitable for three seasons and offers optimum comfort in both cold and warm temperatures. Thanks to the PFC-free Ultra-Dry down process, the down stays drier even in humid environments, which provides additional protection and heat retention.
The Free Flow zipper system gives you excellent temperature regulation and multiple sleeping bag configurations. In colder conditions, you can pull down the technical hood and close the draft tube-protected zippers to let the Ultra-Dry goose down keep you warm. On particularly warm nights, you can open the Ascent sleeping bag completely and turn it into a quilt, or close the snap fasteners in the shoulder area and open the zipper of the foot box so that you can wear the sleeping bag like a garment - perfect for camping and hardcoreadventures.
Another highlight is the warmth-efficient, looser mummy fit, which offers space in the hood for an Aeros pillow and the ability to connect the sleeping bag to a compatible, women-specific Sea to Summit sleeping bag to create space for two people. The lightweight 20D recycled nylon outer fabric with PFC-free DWR waterproofing protects against wind and moisture, while the 20D recycled nylon inner provides extra comfort. The full-length hollow chamber construction with vertical hollow chambers in the upper body area minimizes downward displacement and maximizes heat retention.

750+ LOFT ULTRA-DRY DOWN
The third highest fill power in all Sea to Summit sleeping bags and quilts. 750+ Fill Power means that one ounce (30 g) of down expands to over 750 cubic inches after compression. A higher loft means that less down can be used to achieve the same temperature value - important for high-performance sleeping bags. The loft and quality/composition of the down is independently tested by the International Down and Feather Laboratory (IDFL) - a copy of the certificate is supplied with every Sea to Summit sleeping bag. The down is responsibly sourced, RDS certified and treated with our PFC-free Ultra-Dry Down treatment.FREE FLOW ZIP
Our Free Flow construction with three zippers ensures that your sleeping bag offers maximum warmth and efficiency or a variety of ventilation options, depending on your needs. The (half) zipper on the right side of the sleeping bag (left side for women's specific sleeping bags) provides freedom of movement for both arms, extra ventilation and allows you to fold down (the top third) of the sleeping bag as a (mini) quilt when it gets warmer than expected.RESPONSIBLE DOWN STANDARD (RDS)

The RDS certifies down according to animal welfare requirements and tracks it from source to end product.
