The plastic construction of the screw head significantly minimizes heat conduction, which prevents the screw from melting out. The integrated carrying device also acts as tip protection and can be easily removed with one hand. This not only holds the screw in place until it is used, but also prevents injuries and damage to clothing. The integrated Expressloop holds the screw securely on the harness and keeps it tidy, so that no ice screwclippers are necessary.
When removing it from the ice, the screw can simply remain clipped into the rope and therefore cannot get lost.
