The yarns contain thermoreactive minerals that recycle and slowly re-emit the far-infrared energy (FIR) emitted by the body. This creates a lasting, long-lasting warmth. If it gets really uncomfortable, the fitted, insulated hood, adjustable at the back, provides additional protection. Should the temperatures - or the intensity - rise, the jacket can be stowed away compressed in its own pocket. As part of the Salewa Committed collection, the jacket is finished with a PFC-free DWR impregnation (Durable Water Repellent).
