Rudy Project Helmet Nytron

Designed and engineered in the wind tunnel in collaboration with world-class aerodynamic experts Swiss Side, the new Nytron combines ultimate safety, amazing aerodynamic performance with compact and lightweight design. Thanks to the scientific combination of massive air vents and internal directional ducts, the fantastic Nytron ventilation keeps the rider's head cool and lowers body temperature, improving overall performance. The Nytron exceeds the test protocol Rudy Project WG 11. The WG11 rotational impact test is a protocol adopted by Rudy Project in collaboration with accredited and notified bodies to test and measure the performance of helmets against rotational impact.

Technologies and manufacturing processes

  • MASSIVE VENTILATION

Decreasing the body temperature and Increasing Performance
  • Triple in Mold Construction

The in-mould technology allows the outer polycarbonate shell to be moulded directly with expandable polystyrene (EPS) during the injection phase of the shock-absorbing foam. The result is a much stiffer structure that is impact resistant, extremely lightweight and allows for a better ventilation system. The combined action of the EPS structure, the polycarbonate cap and the exoskeleton creates resistance to the mechanical action exerted by an impact and distributes the energy to prevent it from being transferred to the head of the person wearing the helmet.
