With the Ultrasphere 1.5 from Rab, we have saved as much weight and volume as possible to create the ultimate sleeping mat for situations where every gram counts. It uses innovative staggered air chambers that prevent convection currents inside and can trap heat. This keeps you warm during overnight stays in the wilderness even without bulky insulation. This weight-saving construction is ideal for bikepackingtours, long-distance hikes and multi-day mountain runs in summer, thanks to the soft and exceptionally lightweight material.
The comfortable mummy shape, which becomes narrower towards the bottom, is not unnecessarily bulky. The thick and supportive base allows you to rest and recharge your batteries for full days in the mountains. When it's time for a good night's sleep, your sleeping bag can be set up quickly and easily thanks to the flat two-way valve and pump bag. The pump bag enables quick and hygienic inflation, while the included roll-up stuff sack and repair kit provide additional comfort and safety.
The main material consists of 20D recycled polyester with an internal TPU coating and a fluorocarbon-free DWR finish, which makes the mat particularly environmentally friendly. With an R value of 1.3 and a pack size of just 18 x 9 cm, the Ultrasphere 1.5 is not only lightweight, but also extremely compact. The 8 cm thickness provides a comfortable and supportive sleeping surface that lets you start the next day refreshed.
