The Oakley DRT5 Maven EU helmet is the ideal companion for all cyclists who value maximum safety and comfort. This model is equipped with the advanced BOA 360°-Fit system, which guarantees a customized and secure fit. Thanks to the innovative Mips® protection system, the helmet offers optimum protection against dangerous rotational movements of the head. The DRT5 Maven weighs an impressive 60 grams less than its predecessor, making it lighter than ever.
With a total of 19 ventilation openings, including new ones on the front and top, the helmet ensures excellent air circulation and breathability, which is particularly beneficial on long rides. Wearing comfort is maximized by a special forehead pad with sweat trap and textile padding on the top of the helmet. The siliconegel sweat trap efficiently wicks sweat away from the forehead so that your goggles remain streak-free.
Another highlight of the DRT5 Maven is the antimicrobial Ionic+™ lining, which is activated by sweat and ensures a fresh feel and good odor control. The goggle storage is also well thought out: the ventilation openings at the front offer a secure way to store the goggles, while the Unobtainium® temples hold them securely in place. The helmet also has a second retaining device on the back.
The four-point adjustable visor not only protects against sun and dirt, but also provides a safe place to store your goggles. The DRT5 Maven has been specifically designed to work seamlessly with Oakley's Airbrake MTB goggles. The design of the helmet reflects Oakley's eyewear heritage, with a brand mark that echoes the Prizm™ lens colors of Oakley's eyewear.
