Approach & Via Ferrata Shoes

Via ferrata and approach shoes, are primarily made for the approach to rock but can also be used in easy terrain for climbing. Solid rubber soles and often a robust rubber coating on the toe of the shoe ensure a good grip. In addition, the shoes are equipped with loops at the heel, which allows them to be hung on the climbing harness.
