Smith Scout Mips

The Scout Mips from Smith is a versatile unisexhelmet that is suitable for winter sports as well as cycling and the skate park. Thanks to the advanced ABS construction, the helmet offers increased impact protection and all-round durability. The integrated MIPS® Brain Protection System reduces the rotational forces acting on the head in the event of an impact, thus providing additional protection. Some color variants are also available without the MIPS® system.
The helmet is equipped with the self-adjusting Lifestyle Fit System, which adapts perfectly to any head shape and offers maximum comfort. For added comfort, the removable Bombshell ear pads can be removed depending on the weather, and the helmet is beanie-compatible, so you can wear a hat underneath on cold days. The eight fixed vents ensure continuous airflow and prevent fogging of the lenses, which is further supported by AirEvac™ ventilation technology.
The Scout Mips is specifically designed for optimal integration with all Smith snow goggles to ensure maximum comfort and ventilation. The removable goggle strap closure allows for a streamlined helmet shell when goggles are worn under the helmet. Weighing just 500 g (size M, MIPS®), the helmet is lightweight yet robust. The dual certification according to ASTM F 2040, CE EN 1077:2007 CLASS B and EN1078 confirms its suitability for year-round use.
