The Smith Mission Mips helmet combines classic style with innovative technology to provide unparalleled protection for all winter sports enthusiasts. Thanks to the lightweight In-Mold construction, in which the outer shell and the hard foam body (EPS) are connected to form a uniform shape, this helmet is both lightweight and durable. With the integrated MIPS® Brain Protection System, rotational forces acting on the head in the event of an impact are effectively reduced. In certain zones, Koroyd® inserts provide additional, energy-absorbing and ventilated protection.
The Mission Mips helmet is designed for optimal integration with all Smith snow goggles, guaranteeing maximum comfort and fog-free vision. AirEvac™ ventilation technology and 14 vents allow excellent air circulation, while temperature controls allow easy, one-handed adjustment of ventilation. The adjustable Dial-Fit system ensures that the helmet fits perfectly and can be easily adjusted.
For added comfort, the Snapfit SL2 ear pads are removable and audio-compatible so that they can also be used with the Aleck™ audio system. The helmet is certified in accordance with the ASTM F 2040 and CE EN 1077:2007 CLASS B standards and therefore offers the highest level of safety.
