The Basecamp -9C Down sleeping bag from Sea to Summit takes camping with your van or in a roof tent to the next level. This high-quality sleeping bag is filled with RDS-certified duck down, which has a fill power of 650+ and thanks to a PFC-free Ultra-Dry down-impregnation keeps you dry even when wet. The Free Flow zipper system makes it possible to open both sides or the foot compartment to ensure optimum ventilation and individually regulate the temperature.
The outer material is made from lightweight, recycled 20D-nylon with PFC-free DWR-impregnation that protects against wind and moisture, while the inner material made from recycled 20D-nylon offers additional comfort. The loose, semi-rectangular fit of the sleeping bag allows you to combine two Basecamp sleeping bags into a double sleeping bag or open the upper part of the sleeping bag and use it as a quilt.
The hollow chamber construction with vertical hollow chambers in the chest area minimizes down movement and ensures even heat distribution. The oversized hood with adjustable drawcords offers enough space for your favorite pillow to further increase your sleeping comfort. This unisex down sleeping bag is ideal for anyone who doesn't want to sacrifice comfort when vanlife or camping.

650+ LOFT ULTRA-DRY DOWN
650+ Fill Power means that one ounce (30 g) of down expands to over 650 cubic inches after compression. A higher loft means that less down can be used to achieve the same temperature value - important for high-performance sleeping bags. The loft and quality/composition of the down is independently tested by the International Down and Feather Laboratory (IDFL) - a copy of the certificate is supplied with every Sea to Summit sleeping bag. The down is responsibly sourced, RDS certified and treated with our PFC-free Ultra-Dry Down treatment.FREE FLOW ZIP
Our Free Flow construction with three zippers ensures that your sleeping bag offers maximum warmth and efficiency or a variety of ventilation options, depending on your needs. The (half) zipper on the right side of the sleeping bag (left side for women's specific sleeping bags) provides freedom of movement for both arms, extra ventilation and allows you to fold down (the top third) of the sleeping bag as a (mini) quilt when it gets warmer than expected.RESPONSIBLE DOWN STANDARD (RDS)
