The brand new Cosmos Re-Source from Scott is the latest member of the Re-Source product family and sets standards in terms of sustainability and performance. Based on the iconic Cosmos design, this ski boot is made from over 50% eco-friendly materials by weight. The upper material is 90% bio-based, the strap is made from 100% recycled polyester and the liner is partially made from recycled materials.
With the proven Powerlite 2.0 construction and the Cabrio Hybrid design, the Cosmos Re-Source offers an unbeatable combination of lightness and versatility. The ski boot is equipped with Dynafit®-certified Tech inserts and has a ski/walking function mechanism that is operated via a buckle on the back. The adjustable template of 12° or 14° and the shaft rotation of 60° enable optimum adjustment and freedom of movement.
Three micro-adjustable Ergal® buckles, Lock closures and a Velcro fastener ensure a secure and comfortable fit. The ISO 9523 Touring (UNI) system rounds off the technical features and makes the Cosmos Re-Source one of the best ski-touring boots on the market. Full-length Vibram bi-density rubber under the instep area provides maximum grip when scrambling over any terrain that isn't snow. The bi-density composition has firmer black rubber around the sole's perimeter to provide durability and superior edging power in step-in bindings.
