The WS Wildfire Edge GTX from Salewa is the perfect companion for demanding hikes and climbing on unprotected, technical terrain. This versatile approach shoe for women can be quickly and easily converted from a hiking shoe to a climbing shoe thanks to the innovative Switchfit system. Developed in collaboration with mountain guides and professional climbers from the Dolomites, it offers improved climbing precision and safety by simply tightening the laces. For added comfort, the toe cap can be extended by loosening the laces.
Under the robust suede and microfiber upper, the GORE-TEX® Extended Comfort membrane ensures dry feet in all weathers. This membrane is extremely breathable and wicks moisture away to the outside, which is particularly beneficial during intense activity. The edging plate under the forefoot improves precision when climbing, while the flexible insole ensures a high level of comfort and a natural rolling motion.
The Pomoca Speed MTN sole of the Wildfire Edge GTX offers excellent grip on smooth rock structures and ensures effective grip on muddy and soft ground. The special lug profile has proven itself in both dry and wet conditions. The Exa Shell structure provides additional torsional stability and protection, while Salewa's 3F system ensures a precise fit and firm grip.
With the Climbing Lacing, which extends to the toes, the shoe can be individually adjusted. The Multi Fit Footbed Plus (MFF+) enables precise adjustment to your own foot shape.
