Whether on the slopes around the Sella massif or on the mountain slopes of the Dolomites - with this jacket there are no limits in winter!Waterproof and breathableThe Sella Ski 2L jacket features a 2-layer Powertex laminate construction: two different hardshell fibers are combined to provide solid and durable weather protection. In exposed areas such as the back, shoulders, upper arms and waist, the jacket has a water column of 20,000 mm, while everywhere else the fabric has a water column of 15,000 mm and good breathability. The taped seams and 100% PFC-free DWR coating (Durable Water Repellent) provide additional protection. The torso area uses a lighter hardshell fabric with spun-in wool yarns to keep you from sweating as you climb. The deep, side zippers also provide for improved ventilation. Thermoreactive InsulationFor insulation, we outfit this jacket with a lightweight 60g TirolWool® Responsive layer that provides natural thermal regulation. The wool comes from Tyrolean mountain sheep grazing on high alpine pastures. Thanks to its high lanolin content, it keeps warm well even when wet. In addition, we improve the thermal performance with Salewa's patented Responsive technology: thermoreactive minerals recycle the body's infrared energy, releasing it gradually for greater comfort, better performance and faster recovery.The Sella Ski 2L women's jacket has a full range of features with Velcro cuffs to keep out rain and snow, and a comfortably cut and insulating balaclava that is also comfortable when worn with a helmet and can be adjusted with a user-friendly one-hand rear adjustment system.
