The Puez Knit Powertex shoe stands for a smooth rolling motion and a high level of comfort. This makes the trekking shoe for women ideal for both short and long mountain hikes and trekking adventures in rough terrain, as well as for exploring the urban environment. The abrasion-resistant, knitted nylonupper material is reinforced with a toe cap and an all-round protective rubber rand. The PFC-free, waterproof and breathable Powertex® membrane provides reliable weather protection, while the midsole made from our Alpinehemp ensures sustainable, innovative production. Natural cycle & sustainabilityIn the front of the foot, the midsole is made from our Alpine hemp material, which is characterized by particularly sustainable production that combines recycled hemp waste with new hemp. This allows us to reduce the use of EVA, save resources and offer a sustainable alternative - without sacrificing performance and functionality. The same concept is used in our sustainable laces, which are made from a combination of Salewas Alpine-Hemp material and recycled polyester. Permanent comfortThe special trekking profile, the two-part EVA midsole with varying degrees of stiffness and soft heel cushioning and the soft, recycled and adaptable CFF footbed, together with the included Volume Reducer insole, ensure a high level of comfort and a customized fit. Innovative, technical solutionsThe Puez Knit Mid Powertex trekking boot is equipped with a Pomoca™ Alpine Trekker outsole, which provides ideal grip and traction on technical terrain. The special feature of the sole, however, is the new Salewa Edging Plate II: a special, thermoplastic insole plate that extends over the entire length of the shoe. Thanks to the Edging Plate II, the shoe provides a high level of flexibility and cushioning for long-lasting comfort while maintaining high rigidity and stability in the forefoot and heel area. This creates an ideal combination of flexibility and support. Salewa's proven Salewa 3F system with Kevlar® laces also further increases stability at the ankles and in the midfoot: The patented system connects the lacing system, sole and heel and thus guarantees a secure hold while maintaining flexibility. The Climbing-Lacing lacing system also enables precise lacing in the toe area for an even more precise fit, more support and ideal adaptation.
