Salewa Puez 2.5L Powertex Jacket M

To guarantee optimum protection in harsh conditions, we have developed and extensively tested Salewa's Puez Aqua Jacket between the rugged mountain peaks of the Dolomites. The 2.5-layer ripstop-fabric with Powertext®-membrane consists of 57 percent recycled materials and is the ideal companion in adverse weather conditions. With a water column of 10,000 millimetres, the material is reliably waterproof: The water column describes the pressure required for water to penetrate the fabric. Nevertheless, the jacket remains extremely breathable at 10,000 g/m²/24h: This means that 10 liters of water vapor per square meter can evaporate within 24 hours - so the jacket promises to be comfortable to wear even during strenuous activities. The design and features of the jacket are designed for full functionality for alpine hikes and trekking tours: the fully taped seams, waterproof zippers and durable water-repellent DWR coating reliably protect the front and pockets from moisture and rain. At 310 grams, the Puez Aqua is a lightweight - and weighs just two apples when stowed in a backpack. The Puez Aqua is made from recycled materials and has a PFC-free, permanently water-repellent DWR finish and is part of the SALEWA® Committed collection, in which products are produced in accordance with independently audited environmental and social standards.
