The Vibram® Alpine Guide sole is semi-automatic-crampon compatible and offers excellent grip, durability and reliability, even at low temperatures. The profile of the sole is characterized by self-cleaning lugs and a toe profile designed for climbing with high edge performance. The waterproof, breathable GORE-TEX® Insulated Comfort membrane keeps your feet warm and dry even on the coldest winter days, while an integrated stretch gaiter prevents snow from getting in.
Additional features such as the Ankle Protector System (APS) and the Flex Collar improve lateral ankle support and mobility in the rear ankle area.
