The Ortles AM Jacket W from Salewa is the ideal companion for women who want to rely on maximum functionality and comfort when hiking and on alpine activities. This thermal jacket is specially designed for demanding activities in the mountains and offers optimum protection from the elements thanks to its water-repellent properties. The robust Durastretch outer material on the front and shoulders is treated with a PFC-free DRW impregnation for additional weather protection.
The main material of the jacket is Salewas Alpine Merino Fleece, which is not only particularly warm and quick-drying, but also very comfortable to wear. The high elastane content ensures four-wege-stretch and thus guarantees optimum freedom of movement. Particularly exposed areas such as the shoulders and sleeves are reinforced with abrasion-resistant Polarlite Wool inserts and hard-wearing Cordura® to protect against abrasion and tears.
The ergonomic design of the Ortles AM Jacket W allows a high degree of freedom of movement, which is particularly appreciated during demanding activities on ice, classic mountaineering or ski mountaineering. The high collar with soft inner lining and cuffs with integrated thumb loops offer additional protection and comfort in windy and cold conditions. Two large zippered chest pockets offer plenty of space for small items that need to be stowed away safely.
