The main material is made from Salewa's Powertex®cottonhemp material, which has a particularly pleasant feel thanks to the combination of cotton (65 percent) and hemp (35 percent). In addition, the three-layer laminate construction and fully taped seams ensure solid waterproofness with a water column of 20,000 millimetres. The water column describes the pressure required for water to penetrate the fabric. Despite the reliable water protection, the jacket remains air-permeable and breathable. The well thought-out features include an adjustable hood and an elegant press stud placket on the front, which provides additional ventilation options. The width of the cuffs can be adjusted using press studs, while small items can be stored in either the two zippered side pockets or the inner Durastretch softshell pocket.
