From rugged mountain terrain to endless hiking trails and paved roads: The Puez 2 Mid Powertex trekking shoe with a mid-cut design features a progressive, modern style that ensures a smooth roll and exceptional comfort across a variety of terrains. The abrasion-resistant ripstop polyester upper, with a mid-cut design, is reinforced with a toe cap and a protective rubber rand that wraps around the entire shoe. Meanwhile, the integrated waterproof, breathable Powertex® membrane ensures reliable protection against moisture and dirt. Long-lasting comfort The special trekking profile, the two-part EVA midsole with varying degrees of stiffness and soft heel cushioning, and the soft, recycled, and adjustable CFF footbed—together with the included Volume Reducerinsoles, ensure a high level of comfort and a personalized fit. Technical & Innovative The Puez 2 Mid Powertex trekking shoe is equipped with a Pomoca™ Alpine Trekker outsole, which provides ideal grip and traction on technical terrain. What sets the sole apart, however, is the new Salewa Edging Plate II: a special thermoplastic insole plate that extends the entire length of the shoe. Thanks to the Edging Plate II, the shoe offers high flexibility and cushioning for long-lasting comfort, while still providing high stiffness and stability in the forefoot and heel areas. This creates an ideal combination of flexibility and support. Likewise, Salewa’s proven Salewa 3F system with Kevlar® laces further enhances stability around the ankles and in the midfoot: This patented system connects the lacing system, sole, and heel, thereby guaranteeing a secure fit while maintaining flexibility. The Climbing Lacing system also allows for precise lacing in the toe area, providing an even more precise fit, greater support, and ideal adjustment. In addition, the recycled, adjustable CFF footbed is made from recycled mesh fabric, and the waterproof, breathable membrane is PFC-free.
