The Departer Jacket is Patagonia's absolutely simple, multifunctional jacket, which allows you to move freely in the city as well as in the mountains in any weather. It comes with a simple design and a light, supple 2 GORE-TEX laminate made from 100% recycled polyester for durably windproof, waterproof and highly breathable protection in all weather conditions. A DWR (durable water repellent) impregnation keeps snow and moisture out to prevent the outer fabric from soaking through while increasing durability. The smooth mesh lining wicks away moisture and glides easily over the next layer to allow you to move freely. The sewn-on, helmet-compatible, 2-way adjustable hood has an inner collar to lie comfortably on the skin, a soft laminated visor for best visibility and integrated stoppers for comfortable regulation without loose ends. Water repellent zippers with slim zip installation reduce volume and weight; underarm zippers provide beneficial ventilation and air circulation. A fully adjustable snow apron (with tape loops to attach to any Patagonia® winter sports pant) and a drawcord hem provide a tight seal to keep out wind and drifting snow. Pockets: two zippered hand warming pockets, one open inner pocket for ski goggles and gloves plus one zippered inner pocket. With integrated RECCO® reflector for avalanche rescue.
