Designed for passionate long distance runners, the Strider Pro Shorts with DWR (durable water repellent) impregnation are airy and dry quickly; Whether over alpine mats or through a glowing larch forest - wherever fascinating trails beckon, Striders are there to help. Thanks to four overlapping hip pockets made of elastic mesh (two on each side), they offer storage space for everything you need when running in the mountains during the day. An additional, map-sized elastic pocket with zipper sits in the middle of the back. When empty, the sturdy, stretch pockets lie flat. But they are so stretchy that everything from energy bars to a Houdini jacket has room in them. The main material is quick-drying 100% polyester microdobby; the side inserts (only on the outside of the thighs) are made of particularly airy 100% polyester mesh material. Side slits promote air circulation and the open-mesh 100% polyester crepe lining (with durable Polygiene® odor control) dries quickly, weighs next to nothing and breathes excellently. The flat, improved waistband has a fluffy elastic lining and a robust drawcord that is regulated on the outside for added comfort.
