Getting past the key point and putting the decisive cam may be a struggle, but getting something out of your backpack shouldn't be a hassle. That's why our versatile Cragsmith offers quick access through a zippered back flap and zippered lid. With two openings, packing is easy and the U-shaped back flap allows you to unfold the entire pack without the contents or carrying system coming into contact with dirt or debris. A lining of soft foam on the sides and bottom stabilizes the backpack during packing. The tough Cordura® Ballistic material as well as reinforcements on the handles and bottom resist abrasion on rock. A zippered pocket holds maps and energy bars and the lid has an additional pocket. The tension strap at the top can fix a climbing rope and adapt the backpack to excess baggage; you can attach additional items to an eyelet strap. The padded hip belt, position adjustment straps and Airflow mesh on the shoulder straps and back padding provide cooling comfort on long, steep approach routes. Made from 251 g/m², 630 denier nylon with PU coating. Base: 314 gsm, 940 denier Cordura® Ballistic nylon with PU coating. Both fabrics with DWR (Durable Water Repellent) impregnation.
