Mountain Equipment Lightline Eco Mens Jacket

The Lightline Eco Mens Jacket from Mountain Equipment is the ideal choice for environmentally conscious alpinists who don't want to compromise on performance. This technical down jacket impresses with its sustainable production and outstanding functionality. The bluesign® certified DRILITE® Loft 50D outer material with PFC-free DWR ensures absolute windproofness and strong water repellency, so you are well protected even in adverse weather conditions.
With a filling of 296g recycled down and a fill power of at least 700 cuin, the jacket offers excellent insulation properties that provide reliable warmth even at temperatures below freezing. The quilted chamber construction ensures even distribution of the down and prevents cold bridges.
The adjustable and detachable hood fits perfectly and offers additional protection from the elements. Practical features such as the 2-Wege-Front zipper from YKK® with insulated inner cover, two zippered-side pockets, an inner pocket for valuables as well as adjustable cuffs and drawstrings at the waist round off the design. For added comfort and ease of use, the jacket can be stowed in the pack sack provided.

    Technologies and manufacturing processes

    • Down Cycle

The DOWN CYCLE® project is part of our strategy to act more sustainably. The project started in 2017 when we introduced 100% recycled down into our Earthrise apparel line. In the long term, we want to create a closed-loop recycling system where down clothing and sleeping bags that are no longer needed or at the end of their life are not simply thrown away.
    • Drilite Loft

DRILITE® Loft is the name of our PU-coated outer material used in down and synthetic jackets and sleeping bags. It is lightweight, very breathable, windproof and water repellent.
    • Fair Wear

Mountain Equipment has been a member of the non-profit organization "Fair Wear Foundation" since 2012 and is thus committed to implementing the highest standards for socially just working conditions in all operating and production facilities.
