Technologies and manufacturing processes

• Stormhood & Mask

  Ergonomically shaped, close-fitting balaclava with built-in face mask for particularly cold or stormy days. The mask can also be pulled over the head during the ascent using the puller at the neck.

• Basic insulation

  We distinguish between three different levels of insulation: Basic, Medium and High Isolation. The necessary insulation for the different temperatures or weather conditions depends on the area of application and intensity of the sport.

• 3 layers

  The outer material, the functional membrane as well as a thin inner lining are connected to a stable 3-layer construction to meet highly professional and uncompromising demands. The membrane used gives the material good to very good breathable and waterproof properties.

• Skin pocket

  The product has large pockets for stowing the climbing skins. This prevents the skins from freezing due to the body heat.

• 4 Way Stretch

  The material is transversely and longitudinally elastic and offers maximum freedom of movement.

• Durable Water Repellent ECO

  This is a durable water and dirt repellent finish for the outer fabric that allows rain and snow to run off. The garment also becomes less sensitive to dirt. Breathability is not affected. All the finishes we use are Bluesign® approved and therefore meet the highest possible standards in terms of environmental protection.

• Partial wind proof

  The Windblock/Windstopper front prevents the body from cooling down by the wind.

• Laser vents

  The garment is equipped with technically complex, lasered ventilation openings. Laser Vents are used on body parts where increased breathability is required.
