M's Heyday Jacket More Than Red XS

What makes it special? Heyday is our true, has-it-all, mountaineering shell jacket. This is 100% circular design, state-of-the-art performance working in harmony with your every movement on your most demanding adventures. With Heyday the Houdini design team set out to build a shell that allows you to really push your limits and get the most out of life in the mountains. Heyday Jacket is 3D shaped with Made to Move technology to facilitate the movements of mountaineering and backcountry skiing. How does it work? Heyday Jacket is a fully equipped and super durable shell disguised in a minimalistic design with a soft, smooth and quiet aura. The touch of the material is different from most performance shells — Heyday is stretchy, soft and silent, allowing you to hear no crackling fabrics but every sound of nature around you. Heyday Jacket has a double chest pocket set up and beneath the durable surface hides two inner stash pockets that will keep your belongings safe. The one-hand adjustable helmet compatible hood in combination with fully sealed seams will keep you sheltered from any weather. Heyday has water repellent zippers, a laminated brim and an extended storm flap in front. Heyday is PFAS-free, circular and made from recycled and recyclable fibers. When should I use it? Take it climbing, mountaineering or backcountry skiing. Even if you’re not a pro mountaineer with 300 days a year on the mountain, you will thrive in this jacket that sets no boundaries for your adventures. You don’t wear this super-durable shell jacket out in a hurry, but if you eventually do — please don’t throw it away. Heyday Pants are made from recycled and recyclable fibers. The raw materials are valuable and can be used again. Bring them back to a Houdini shop or one of our retailers that has a Houdini recycling unit.

    Care instructions

    • Airing laundry instead of washing saves water and energy and extends the life of the garment. Be sure to wash your shell if it has been used in salt water or has become very sweaty or dirty, as this will weaken the garment's performance. This can reduce the breathability of the fabric and damage the water repellent surface. The dirt can even allow moisture to seep through the fabric.
    • Use our wash bagz to protect your clothes and prevent fibers from leaking. When cleaning the bag and filter in the machine, make sure you clean it and throw the lint in the trash can. Never rinse it in water, as we don't want the fibers to end up in lakes or oceans.
    • Machine wash cold
    • There are special detergents for shells, but mild detergents certified as environmentally friendly work just as well. Use the right dose.
    • Avoid fabric softener. This is not only harmful to our environment, but also negatively affects the performance of clothing, especially moisture transport and breathability.
    • Hang the shell out to dry. Just remember to apply heat to the garment after washing to reactivate the water repellent surface of the shell fabric. Use a drying cabinet, dryer or iron. Make sure that the heat is well dosed so that the garment does not melt.
    • You can reapply or reinforce the water repellent treatment as needed with a wash or spray. Always use an organic DWR: You can find both a spray and a wash in the webshop or in our stores.
    • Remember to apply heat to the garment after washing to reactivate the water-repellent surface of the fabric.

    Technologies and manufacturing processes

    • Reactive 3L Hardshell

3L shell with high durability. A reliable shell layer perfect for all those outdoor activities that require weather protection.
    • Shell product with membrane

    • Circular

This product is completely circularly produced. Means: It is made from either recycled and recyclable fibers. Most products in today's society have a linear life cycle where the earth's resources are extracted, used and then thrown away. This doesn't work in the long run and has a big impact on the environment. Instead, we want to close the production cycle and reuse materials we already have. But we need your help. If one day your Houdini apparel is completely worn out, please bring it back to us. We have recycling units in all Houdini stores and at many of our retailers.
    • Recycled

At least 50% of the fibers in this product come from recycled sources. Either from recycled clothing or other origin, such as from PET bottles. We use mainly recycled polyester, which has many advantages. It reduces both CO2 emissions and water consumption compared to virgin polyester. By how much depends on the recycled type. One of our suppliers, for example, brings it to 32% reduced CO2 emissions and 94% lower water consumption for mechanically recycled polyester. In addition to the impact of production, Houdini's main approach is to reuse supposed "waste" as raw materials instead of original virgin crude.
    • Recyclable

The material of this product is fully recyclable. Instead of becoming waste, the raw material can be used for new products. Our goal is to remove no more new raw materials from the earth's crust by 2030. Circular products made from recycled or recyclable materials can truly change the game of manufacturing culture. We need your help, though. If your Houdini apparel is completely worn out, please bring it back to us. We have recycling units in all of our own stores and at many of our retailers.
