Crazy Idea Pant Half Blade

The Half Blade were designed by Crazy and launched at the 2007 Trofeo Mezzalama to meet the needs of the athletes tackling the most prestigious competitions. Later on, as often happens, they were adopted by many other brands - not least because the regulations of the big classic races made it mandatory to carry a pair of insulated overtrousers, conforming with precise requirement both in terms of thermal performance and weight. Above the knees, the outer fabric is Airtastic, a stretch nylon, while the insulation is provided by POLARTEC's Alpha. The lower legs are made from waterproof 2.75-layer Dermizax nylon. In the crotch area a 2-way stretch microfibre insert prevents the annoying sticky feel so typical of nylon; while the side zips, with a convenient button that facilitates the opening, can be fully opened at the end to keep the skis on when it's time to wear the trousers. A bundle of technology in less than 300 g.
