Made from blended, eco-friendly materials, our mid-height Hikers for kids offer all-day comfort for outdoor play. The upper is made from responsibly sourced Premium Timberland® Leather and ReBOTL™ material that contains at least 50% recycled plastic. The model also features a grippy rubber tread sole, a cushioned OrthoLite® footbed and a "Does it Fit?" sole that indicates when it's time for a new pair. Timberland supports environmentally friendly leather manufacturing through the Leather Working Group.

We have developed this environmentally friendly material from non-biodegradable PET plastic bottles. The plastic bottles are recycled and processed into RPET...yarns (yarns made from recycled polyethylene terephthalate). This material enables us to manufacture products from 50% recycled PET with the aim of almost completely reducing the environmental impact of various production processes.
