The Timberland brand grew out of a shoe manufacturer and the successful launch of a waterproof boot, the original Timberland Yellow Boot, which ultimately gave the company its name. Initially, only outdoor clothing and footwear for men were produced, but in the 1990s collections for women and children were added. Since then, products of the highest quality and fashionable designs have been manufactured - for adventure and urban lifestyle. Timberland is committed to sustainability on all fronts: from its own production of environmentally conscious clothing and renewable leather shoes to advice for the end consumer.
