For adventure off the beaten track: Anyone who has to transport all their luggage and food over long and rough stretches on demanding trekking tours needs a robust and reliable backpack with plenty of storage space and excellent carrying comfort. The models of the Skarvan range offer exactly that with an amazingly light weight. The adjustable Tergolight Comfort back system can be individually adjusted; two internally running frames result in a very good load transfer and a lot of stability. The ergonomically shaped shoulder straps offer great freedom of movement in the shoulder area. The thickly padded hip straps, which have been redesigned for even better load transfer, are also essential for wearing comfort and a stable fit. This heavy duty backpack is made of very durable, highly water-repellent material. In order to avoid potential weak points, we have not used any zippers in stressed areas on this trekking backpack. Therefore the access to the bottom compartment and main compartment is done by means of wrap-around fasteners, which are not susceptible to wear and tear and are extremely waterproof. The volume of the main compartment can be increased by about 10 litres by the additional material of the wrap-around closure (extension of the "stuffer"). The spacious, removable and height-adjustable lid can hold all the items needed on the trail for the day. A shaped head recess on the lid provides sufficient headroom, and in addition the lid converts in a few steps into a small rucksack for a summit or an exploratory trip around the camp. A large hip belt bag with a waterproof zipper holds things that should also be handy while walking. The water bottle is stored in a special holder; the trekking poles or tent poles fit into the large side mesh pockets.
