Bear responsibility. This 3-layer hybrid jacket is consistently trimmed for sustainability in the choice of materials, production and service life. It protects you from wetness and wind during various outdoor activities. The casual cut is layer-optimised, i.e. the jacket is cut so long that clothing worn underneath is overlaid on the hem and cuffs. Stretch pleats at the elbows made of elastic Econyl® recycled polyamide ensure good freedom of movement. The abrasion resistant and durable main fabric on the sleeves, shoulders and hood is EcoPaxx®. This is a synthetic fibre made from 70% castor oil, which is a renewable raw material. EcoPaxx® can also be processed into injection molded plastic parts. We have used it to make all the zippers in the jacket. Our waterproof and windproof Ceplex Green membrane is also particularly environmentally friendly. It is completely PFC-free and we use up to 25% recycled or bio-based materials in the manufacture of the membrane. The backing to protect the membrane is applied in the form of a laminate of S-Cafe® material. The innovative material, which is made from recycled coffee grounds, ensures a dry feel. In the lower part of the jacket we use Durable Organic Cotton. This is a tightly woven, particularly robust and highly breathable cotton fabric made from GOTS-certified organic cotton. If the fabric gets wet, it swells slightly and forms a natural barrier to rain. As a water-repellent finish on the outside of the jacket, we use Eco Finish, a PFC-free impregnation.
