New layer gauge on the bike: 3 zones x 4 layers + environmentally friendly production = intelligent weather protection. In the new hybrid jacket Primasoft, VAUDE combines a classic soft shell material with membrane and Primaloft® padding. The result: a stretchy, partially wind- and water-repellent jacket that insulates the body zones most affected by cooling. All this in proven VAUDE Green Shape quality, as the main material is produced in an environmentally friendly way according to the bluesign® standard. The construction: Outer fabric and inner material are identical in every zone, the difference is in between. In zone 1, in the chest and shoulder area, a 100% windproof and waterproof membrane protects the body zones that are most exposed to the wind from cooling and wetness. Airy, light and finely structured, the Primaloft® insulation keeps the upper body warm. Zone 2, in the lower part of the front and back, gets by with membrane but without padding. In zone 3, on the back, the membrane is omitted. This increases the breathability and elasticity of the fabric. The jacket follows every movement of the body and allows for evaporation to the rear on sweaty rides. This product is manufactured with Eco Finish environmentally friendly water-repellent without fluorocarbons (PFC).
