Wool is naturally thermo-regulating, soft on the skin and has odour-inhibiting properties. The synthetic fibre, on the other hand, ensures good moisture transport and quicker drying. The easy-care material mix offers you an optimal climate balance and at the same time protects the earth's resources. We use a new type of yarn for the side, highly breathable inserts. For this purpose, PET bottles, for example, were recycled and spun together with the kapok fibre into an innovative yarn (80% polyester, 20% kapok). Kapok is a fluffy, fine plant fibre that looks like cotton wool and provides natural warmth, which is why it is also known as plant down. When blended with recycled polyester, the textile material offers excellent moisture management, dries quickly and is extremely durable. On the front, a wind-repellent, lightweight outer fabric made of recycled polyamide serves as wind and weather protection. The elastic cuffs are also made of recycled material. Here we use Econyl®, a material made from used materials such as recycled fishing nets. The zip is made of EcoPaXX®.
