The asymmetrical shaft design in combination with the Boa® L6 twist closure provides the right stability and can be perfectly and individually adjusted to your foot. An additional cover of the BOA twist closure protects against dirt and provides further stability. The roughened heel lining and the anatomically pre-shaped Ortholite® insole support the sporty fit. The insole is equipped with harder PU foam in the pedal area and delivers perfect power transmission on the pedal. For added comfort and protection, the EVA midsole has an additional cushioning element incorporated in the heel area. The raised collar on the inside of the ankle provides protection from crank strikes; the reinforced toe cap protects against stones and branches.The newly developed AM Flat sole takes you to a new level in bike and hike. The graduated Hexagon profile in the pedal area in combination with the soft SUPtraction® Flat rubber compound provides perfect grip on the pedal and a lot of riding fun. In the toe and heel area, the sole has a deeper profiling, which provides the necessary grip in Trage and Schiebepassagen. In addition, the hexagons act like scales that wedge into the ground as you walk, providing a firm grip even in critical passages.The lining material contains 40% recycled materials. The comfortable Ortholite® insole is made of environmentally friendly Eco Plush PU foam and 50% recycled polyester.
