In the event of an impact, the shields absorb the forces and distribute them over a larger area. Together with the MIPS technology (see below for details), the helmet offers the best protection currently available; Product technologies: GRP (Glass fiber Reinforced Polymer Shell): Plastic shell reinforced with glass fibers for the best possible impact protection. GRP shells are made up of several different layers of material and are hardened under extremely high pressure. The result is a high quality shell and any weak points. Impact Shields: Shock absorbing EPS liner with special inserts to absorb shocks. The Impact Shields distribute the pressure of an impact in the front and rear area of the helmet to larger areas.
