As with all freeride ski poles from SCOTT, you can use them to speed down steep slopes with confidence thanks to the additional safety feature, the Strap Release System (SRS) technology.

S3 Aluminium
S3 aluminim shafts are computer engineered and manufactured with high-grade aluminum. This magnesium aluminum alloy has been strain hardened to confer high strength and good resistance.
S.R.S. System
The Scott S.R.S (Strap Release Strap System) is the next generation in ski pole safety technologies. The Scott Riot 18, Team Issue, the Zeo 13, the Riot 18 and the Rs-18 are equipped with the S.R.S. system. In tricky situations, the strap can be detached from the handle of the ski pole to prevent injuries.
