With the SCOTT Trail Storm Insuloft Alpha women's jacket cold and wind have no chance on the trails. This jacket is equipped with an active Polartec® Alpha® Direct insulation that keeps warm and protects against cold wind. New are the two handwarmer pockets that make this jacket even more versatile. In addition, the jacket features a specific fit for MTB riders and a longer back with waterproof properties for better coverage while riding.

    Polartec® Alpha® is the first high performance fabric to materialize the concept of active insulation. The low density fibers between air permeable woven layers create a more efficient fabric for regulating warmth and transferring moisture. It speeds up dry times. Polartec® Alpha® Direct is an evolution of original Alpha® technology that eliminates the need for a backing fabric to create an enclosed fabric package.

    Perfluorinated and polyfluorinated compounds, also known as PFCs, are a group of fluorinated substances that have long been used as durable water repellence for clothing in the outdoor industry are very bad for the environment because they are very stable, and do not easily break down in nature. Therefore, PFC free/ C0 DWR treatments have been developed. They are less durable but more sustainable.
