It features a PFC-free DWR coating (durable water repellent) and taped seams.Active insulation The Vioz jacket has Polartec® Alpha® Direct wool-blend insulation under a mesh lining in the chest and back areas and at the top of the sleeves. The interwoven fibers used are bonded to a solid mesh core, ensuring that excess heat escapes before it can build up and cause chilling. The additional wool fibers improve thermal regulation and comfort. This hybrid insulation is an exclusive SALEWA® product.Mountain-specific detailsFor added protection, the Vioz jacket offers a padded hood and chin-high collar. It has a zippered chest pocket, elastic cuffs and a drawcord system at the hem to keep heat from escaping. All this makes the Vioz women's jacket a lightweight, breathable insulation layer.
