Salewa Vento AM Hybrid Jacket M

Our hybrid Vento Jacket is made from a 160 gram lightweight merino wool blend with Tencel™Lyocell fibers. The fine AlpineWool® merino wool, which comes from mountain sheep, is soft and, like the Tencel™ fibre, has odour-neutralizing properties. The natural fiber Tencel™-Lyocell is obtained from the renewable raw material wood in an environmentally friendly process. Due to its smooth fiber surface with high evaporation properties, it is characterized by excellent moisture management. For even more durability and longevity, the merino woolblend is also reinforced with polyamidefibresThe wind jacket was designed using the body mappingprinciple, in which different materials are positioned on different parts of the body to achieve the best possible functionality. In the front, we use a wind-repellent yet breathable nylon-Tencel™ insert that fits well and does not flutter even at high bike speeds. The wind jacket comes in a sporty fit and has been specially designed for the requirements of biketours with its longer back section. The sleeves are tailored and cut extra long so that the wrist remains well protected even when biking. Features such as the stylish, contrasting zipped rear pocket, the full-length front zipper and the high collar that protects against draughts make the wind jacket the ideal companion on any bike, gravel or bike to climb tours. For additional visibility, the wind jacket has coral red neon- reflective stripes that reflect the light of car headlights in the dark.
