The taped seams and Velcro adjustable cuffs contribute to weather protection, and the long side zippers provide additional ventilation. The two front pockets have a waterproof zipper, the large chest pocket will not be covered by your backpack or climbing harness, and there are also two large inside pockets made of stretch material.
