Waterproof & breathableThe lightweight hardshell jacket impresses with an athletic fit as well as an ergonomic cut that allows for high freedom of movement. To guarantee maximum protection from wind and weather, Salewa's Powertex outer fabric is used, which combines high functionality, versatility and durability. The Powertex fabric has a water column of 20,000 millimeters - and provides ideal protection against wetness. The water column describes the pressure required for water to penetrate the fabric. But the Powertex fabric is also impressive in terms of breathability: the MVTR value indicates the amount of evaporated liquid per square meter in 24 hours. At 20,000 g/m2/24h, the material used is extremely breathable. The seams are fully taped and the material is equipped with a PFC-free DWR impregnation (Durable Water Repellent).
