Salewa Ortles TirolWool® Air HD Jacket W
Designed for mixed routes, steep icefalls, and other alpine adventures in the Dolomites and around the world. The Ortles TirolWool® Air Insulation Jacket is made from a blend of Tyrolean wool and partially recycled polyester. The material’s hollow fibers trap air, allowing for optimal retention of body heat. As a result, the jacket offers high loft and insulation despite its very low weight, and it keeps you warm even when wet. For additional protection against abrasion, Salewa’s patented, weather-resistant Powertex® fabric is used on the hood, shoulders, upper arms, and cuffs. The features of this lightweight insulated jacket are also designed to meet the demands of alpine terrain: The helmet-compatible hood protects against cold and wind, the two-way front zipper allows access to the belay device, two meshinner pockets provide space for small items, and the adjustable cuffs with Velcro closures and thumb loops can be easily pulled over thick winter gloves. The Ortles TirolWool® Air Jacket is Salewa’s breathable insulated jacket for winter mountaineering in all conditions.

How to measure
- 1. Height:Stand up straight with your feet and back against a wall. Place a flat object (e.g. book) on your head and hold it horizontally against the wall. Now you can measure from the bottom edge of the object to the floor.
- 2. Chest:Measure the circumference at the widest part of the chest (under the armpits)
- 3. Waist:Measured the waist circumference below the navel. The measuring tape should not constrict the belly keeping the tape horizontal around the body.
- 4. Hips:Measure the hips circumference at the fullest part of the seat keeping the tape horizontal around the body.
