The latest version of Salewa's proven Ortles Hybrid TirolWool® Responsive vest we have designed specifically for the requirements of alpine activities: The functional insulation layer brings excellent temperature-regulating properties and thus protects against cooling in rapidly changing temperatures indoors and outdoors. Our specially developed TirolWool® Responsive insulation material is obtained on the one hand from the valuable wool of Tyrolean mountain sheep, and on the other hand the insulation material is refined with innovative polyester fibers. The fibers contain thermoreactive minerals that recycle and slowly re-emit the far-infrared energy (FIR) emitted by the body. This creates long-lasting, sustainable warmth. The TirolWool® Responsive material is water-repellent, breathable and can keep you warm even when wet.Durastretch inserts are processed at the back and sides, which are particularly comfortable to wear thanks to the wool content (22 percent) and provide freedom of movement thanks to the elastane. Other features such as the pocket in which the vest can be completely stowed, the ergonomically shaped collar and the full-length front zipper with a windproof strip behind make the women's vest the ideal companion for alpine undertakings.
