The Ortles Merino Jacket is a lightweight, quick-drying and breathable fleece jacket made of a hybrid polyester-merino material mix. Thanks to the high merino wool content, the material is particularly comfortable on the skin, breathable and keeps warm in the cold. The athletic cut jacket has been designed according to the bodymapping principle to provide different areas of the body with exactly the right material. For additional weather protection, the robust, wind-resistant outer material is equipped with a PFC-free DWR impregnation (Durable Water Repellent) in the front as well as on the shoulders. Thanks to the high elastane content of the Alpine Merino main material, the jacket impresses with a Vier-Wege-Stretch. In combination with the ergonomically shaped sleeves and shoulder area, the jacket guarantees full freedom of movement - for any movement, no matter how demanding, on the ice, mixed climbing or ski mountaineering. For added abrasion resistance, Polarlite Wool inserts are finished with durable Cordura® on the shoulders and sleeves. The jacket comes with features such as a high, protective collar, cuffs with integrated thumb loops that likewise protect against the cold, and two large zippered chest pockets.
