Salewa Ortles 3 GTX Pro W Jacket

A waterproof and breathable GORE-TEX® PRO shell jacket for women with full alpine weather protection. The Ortles 3 GORE-TEX® PRO Shell Jacket is a 3-layer shell jacket with a waterproof and breathable GORE-TEX® PRO membrane that can be worn over winter clothing. Since it was developed in cooperation with renowned mountain guide associations in the Alps and designed for alpine mountaineering, ski and glacier tours as well as ice climbing, the jacket is technically equipped with all functions. We use 3-layer coated GORE-TEX® Pro to make Salewas most durable and abrasion resistant garments that can be used in extreme and unpredictable conditions. The technology is based on an extremely thin membrane of expanded polytetrafluoroethylene (ePTFE). Its pores are too small for rain to penetrate, but large enough for escaping body vapours. All Salewas GORE-TEX® Pro products are highly waterproof, extremely breathable and can be stored in a very space-saving manner. Equipped with a helmet-compatible and fully adjustable storm hood, plus a hidden hood gusset with zip, which guarantees a perfect fit with or without a helmet. Our Free Motion cut construction and ergonomic sleeves guarantee maximum freedom of movement and prevent the hood from sliding up the hem when climbing. Other functional features include waterproof YKK zips, ventilation zips and a completely waterproof technical finish with welded seams.
