The Ortles 2 Winderstopper® Durastretch trousers are windproof, water-repellent, breathable trousers designed for many alpine activities. Our GORE® Windstopper® trousers have a completely windproof membrane that minimises the cooling effect of wind and provides maximum breathability by wicking moisture away from the body so that the body does not overheat. Gore® Windstopper® fabrics are extremely lightweight, compactly stowable and incredibly comfortable. We reinforce these pants with abrasion-resistant Durastretch inserts for greater durability. And in case you need to cool down on the climb, there are two side ventilation zips and ankle zips. The ergonomically pre-shaped knees and 4-way stretch make the pants suitable for dynamic activities such as ski touring, where extra flexibility is needed. The shock patches are reinforced with Kevlar to prevent damage from ski edges or crampons. They also have loops at the hem to ensure a tight fit on the boot or ski boot.
