Low-cut hiking boot for men, made of nubuck with GORE-TEX® lining and MICHELIN® outsole. The Wander Hiker GTX is a low-cut alpine hiking boot, made of robust nubuck with a waterproof and breathable GORE-TEX® lining and a MICHELIN® outsole with the new SALEWA GumFlate midsole. The shoe is suitable for mixed alpine terrain with rocky paths, mud, grass and snow. A special cushioning foam in the SALEWA GumFlate midsole adapts to the terrain as it treads, for high comfort and reduced pressure on the sole of the foot. The MICHELIN® Wander Hiker outsole features large contact areas for improved traction and cushioning. The aggressive tread pattern with pronounced lugs, combined with the durable MICHELIN® Outdoor rubber compound, offers optimum stability and traction. The Wander Hiker shoe combines several patented technologies for reliable wearing comfort: the Flex Collar for natural freedom of movement during descent, the OrthoLite footbed for improved breathability and moisture management, the 3F system for firm ankle support and good heel hold in the shoe and a GORE-TEX® Extended Comfort lining for optimum weather protection and climate comfort in warmer conditions.
