Half-high men's hiking shoe made of leather for mixed mountain terrain with sure-footed Vibram® outsole, GumFlate midsole and waterproof, breathable GORE-TEX® protection. The Hike Trainer is a flexible, comfortable hiking boot designed for mixed terrain. The versatile and multi-functional Vibram Oban outsole offers an optimal balance of traction, flexibility and self-cleaning studs and provides excellent grip and stability. The durable suede upper features a GORE-TEX® Extended Comfort Lining that is durably waterproof and has optimized breathability: Water cannot penetrate from the outside, but perspiration can easily escape from the inside. At the heart of the Hike Trainer is the special cushioning foam of the SALEWA® GumFlate midsole, which adapts to the ground on contact to provide even more comfort and cushioning, while reducing pressure under the foot. In addition, Salewa's proven SALEWA® 3F system combines the instep area with the sole and heel to guarantee flexibility, precise fit and firm support. The Flex Collar provides more mobility in the rear ankle area and comfort when descending. The Ortholite® footbed offers good moisture management.
