The Valiance jacket is a welcome protection against rain or snowstorms. Warm and waterproof, it is designed for everyday use and stormy winter hiking daysThe Valiance is made from durable, waterproof Pertex® Shield outer fabric and has taped seams - it offers reliable protection even under the most threatening skies. The tightly processed Boxwall design stabilizes the down so that it can puff out completely. This traps as much warming air as possible. For added durability, less bulk and better moisture management, the cuffs and hood are insulated with quick-drying synthetic Stratus™. When the cuffs are narrowed with the Velcro fastener, the synthetic insulation traps the heat in. The Valiance is longer at the back and has a regular fit for layering over other layers - providing a reassuring, protective feel on wild winter days.Sustainability - it's complicated. How to measure
- 1. Chest:Measure the circumference at the widest part of the chest (under the armpits)
- 2. Waist:Measured the waist circumference below the navel. The measuring tape should not constrict the belly keeping the tape horizontal around the body.
- 3. Sleeve length:The distance from top of shoulder joint to arm wrist. Angle the arm slightly and pass the tape through the elbow as well.
